ANA HEp-2000®
The Immuno Concepts HEp-2000® ANA assay is the most widely used ANA assay in Australia and New Zealand. HEp-2000® uses a patented HEp-2 cell line that has been genetically engineered to over-express the SS-A 60 kDa native antigen. Sample Support
Over the years, Diagnostic Solutions has provided many laboratories with additional sample support. Using a variety of methodologies and additional resources from Immuno Concepts, we have been able to provide a second opinion for difficult samples or ANA patterns. Your Sample Support Reports are now archived on the website, via your member log-in. You will only have access to your laboratory's reports, sorted chronologically and by sample number. PSITS Program
The Immuno Concepts Patient Sample Interpretative Training Series (PSITS) has been a valuable training tool for laboratories in Australia and New Zealand for a number of years. Four times per year a patient sample or photograph of an interesting ANA pattern are sent to participants for review and interpretation. Clinical background notes are provided and results are collated from an international group of participants. You don't have to be an Immuno Concepts ANA user to participate. ANA Veterinary Applications
HEp-2 kits are available in slide only formats for use by Veterinary Pathology laboratories. Species specific conjugates can be used with these substrates. Diagnostic Solutions only supplies human specific conjugates for ANA testing. However, there are other suppliers that are able to provide non-human conjugates for ANA testing.
