Diagnostic Solutions - ANA HEp-2000

The Immuno Concepts HEp-2000® ANA method is the most widely used ANA assay in Australia and New Zealand. HEp-2000® uses a patented HEp-2 cell line that has been genetically engineered to over-express the SS-A 60 kDa native antigen. Since its release in the mid 1990s, it has proven time and again why it is superior to other ANA substrates.

Unique SS-A pattern, with a demonstrated 99.7% specificity (refer literature)
Increased sensitivity to the SS-A pattern; the most common autoantibody
All other ANA autoantibodies exhibit the same patterns as on HEp-2 substrates
Superior morphology and cell distribution

ANA IF Conjugates
We have a range of ANA IF Conjugates available:

FITC Conjugate:
This conjugate consists of H&L IgG [Heavy and Light Chain]. This conjugate primarily detects IgG antibodies but will also detect some IgM and IgA antibodies if present.
FITC IgG Specific Conjugate:
This conjugate consists of only the IgG Heavy chain and will exclusively detect IgG antibodies.
FITC IgG Specific Conjugate with Counterstain:
This conjugate consists of only the IgG Heavy chain and detects IgG antibodies but also incorporates counterstain [Evans Blue].
