Diagnostic Solutions - Training Programs 
All our sales and technical support staff have extensive experience with autoimmune testing, in particular ANA testing. We are able to assist our customers in a variety of ways in order to suit their laboratory needs.

• In-Laboratory training: This is usually a full one (1) day session enabling you to have a number of staff trained.  The following areas are usually covered, but individual requirements can easily be accommodated.
  • HEp-2 / HEp-2000® cells and pattern recognition and Positive / Negative interpretation.
  • Identification of the five (5) core patterns: H+, Sp+, Nuc+, Cent+ and SS-A/Ro.
  • Identification and Interpretation of other ANA patterns.
  • Procedural guidelines, along with "Tips and Tricks". 
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
    
  • Audio-visual tools: Immuno Concepts VISIONS II & III.
  • "Hands-on" running and reading the HEp-2000® assay.
    
• Off-site training at Diagnostic Solutions Head Office in Melbourne: This is usually performed when it is difficult to have suitable "quality time" in a laboratory for training staff.  The training can be individualised to allow for each laboratory's needs. Areas that can be covered include:
  • "Refresher" training and atypical patterns recognition.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
  • Procedural guidelines, along with "Tips and Tricks". 
  • Hands-on training using automated Immunofluorescence systems like the BMD CARIS™.
    
  • Audio-visual tools:
    • Immuno Concepts VISIONS II & III.
    • Diagnostic Solutions Immunofluorescence Troubleshooting.
    • Diagnostic Solutions Autoimmune Disease Overview Training.
  • "Hands-on" performing and reading the HEp-2000® assay.
