Diagnostic Solutions - HUMAN: IMTEC LIA-MYOSITIS (Line Immuno Assay)

Diagnostic Solutions offers a number os autoimmuno LIA assays under the brand name HUMAN/IMTEC. The IMTEC LIA test is based on the principle of Line Immuno Assay. The antigens are applied as lines dotted onto a nitrocellulose membrane. The nitrocellulose membrane is blocked to prevent unspecific reactions. Antibodies are detected using an IgG conjugate coupled with horseradish peroxidase. The bound autoantibodies are visualised as blue lines and compared to the lot-specific evaluation template provided.

The IMTEC MYOSITIS-LIA is a Line Immuno Assay for the detection of antibodies seen in autoimmune Myositis. Each strip is coated with the following autoantigens:

Jo1 recombinant antigen
Mi-2 recombinant antigen
PM-Scl recombinant antigen
U1-SnRNP recombinant antigen
Ku recombinant antigen
